I’ll be at this year’s Lit on Grand at Afterword Tavern & Shelves on Saturday, October 12. Also catch me at the Heartland Book Fest that morning.
LIT ON GRAND is a free-to-attend celebration of books, booze and other good things at Afterword Tavern & Shelves at the corner of 19th and Grand Blvd in KC’s Crossroads neighborhood.
The third annual LIT ON GRAND is a streetfest-style event on Saturday, October 12th from 1pm until 5pm and features 35+ Kansas City writers, poets, booksellers, artists, food vendors and fellow small businesses.
I have participated in this event as a local author each year that Afterword has sponsored it. Local authors, a variety of books, lively conversation, and cocktails at a bookstore meets cocktail bar is one of the most fun literary-inspired events around town. I hope you will visit, shop, and support local literature and businesses. Pop on by to say hello, browse, and buy books for yourself and others for the holidays.
Earlier on the morning of Saturday, October 12, you will find me behind the table for The New Territory at the Heartland Book Festival at the Kansas City Public Library, Central location in Downtown. Tables are stationed in the Grand Reading Room on the third floor.
This fest is another exciting opportunity to meet authors, hear speakers, buy books, and support literature. Drop by the table and say hello.
